The Modern Bible Translators... Liars, Cheats, Thieves and Murderers?

Bible Translation should be considered a serious task. The translators should consider their work carefully and realize that they are messing with God's Word. These Words should be foremost in their minds:

"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22:19)

"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deuteronomy 4:2)

"Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." (Proverb 30:6)

Tamper with the Word of God and there will be a price to pay. That price will be paid both here on earth and especially when the day of judgment comes as well.

Consider this verse in Mark 1:2-3:

"As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight."

The good Bible student knows that this verse refers to an Old Testament verse in Malachi 3:11. However, our "modern Bible translators" did Mark 1:2-3 as follows:

"It is written in Isaiah the prophet: I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way -a voice of one calling in the desert, Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him."

Unfortunately for the "modern bible translators" they erred and attributed the passage to Isaiah. This error has been pointed out to them repeatedly, but they never changed it in their successive editions. It is one thing to make an error, admit it and correct it, but quite something else when you make an error and refuse to correct it. When that happens, your error becomes a lie.

Psalms 119:160 says, "Thy word is true. . ."

John 17:17 says, ". . . thy word is truth."

Titus 1:2 clearly says, ". . . God that cannot lie"

When you publish a version of the Bible and state that the every word in it is true in these verses, then publish falsehoods like the modern version of Mark 1:2-3, when an academic error is apparent, you lose credibility. When a bible loses credibility, people no longer trust it, for if it is wrong in one place, then how many other places is it wrong also?

The more we look, the more it is looking like modern bible translation is more of a business than it is a divinely ordained work, that putting out a product to the gullible public to make money is more important than developing a correct, proper and academically defendable Bible, which everyone can use and know it is the Word of God, settled in Heaven.

However, the profit motive is not the only consideration here. Betrayal is as old as Christianity itself. Judas Iscariot was only the first of many who would betray the faith for financial gain. One has to wonder if these translations and the errors contained therein, are there to undermine the faith of the average Christian and bring discredit to Christianity. We stated at the beginning of this study that Satan's initial purpose was to bring doubt to the Word of God, and then offer a substitute of his own choosing. Remember what John 8:44 says,

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

Therefore, if anyone even tried to suggest that betrayal is impossible, they are not living in the real world. The Devil and his angels will do anything they can to discredit the Word of God.

Let us look at some more lies--

Remember the simple story of David killing Goliath in battle. When you study David a little further, you will find out that he gathered five stones because he expected to have to fight the entire family. The chronicle of Israel's fight with the family of Goliath is chronicled in II Samuel 21. Verse 19 chronicles a battle between Goliath's brother and one of David's fellow Bethlehemites:

"And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam."

But the modern bible translators decided to remove the italicized words and say it this way:

". . . Elhanan son of Jaare Oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver's rod."

They make Lucifer and Jesus Christ - THE SAME!

The lies in the modern versions go much deeper than erring on who killed Goliath. They, like the Mormons, confuse Jesus with Lucifer. In Isaiah 14:12, we read:

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"

The verse clearly talks about Lucifer before he tried to ascend to heaven but failed. There are few credible scholars who question this matter. Yet, the modern translations all read,

"How you have fallen from heaven, O Morning Star, son of the dawn. . ."

The "modern versions" change "Lucifer" to "Morning Star." Has Lucifer the sorcerer suddenly changed his status and become some kind of a good guy? While the Masons may want to argue that he did, we rather doubt it. A sorcerer is still a sorcerer and they still do evil. The use of "Morning Star" concerns us because of Revelation 22:16:

"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."

Jesus calls himself the "bright and morning star" so calling Lucifer the sorcerer a "morning star" in Isaiah is clearly an incorrect translation. Again, this error has been brought to the attention of the modern translators many times and the "modern bibles" still persist in printing these gross errors. So the errors now become lies, and even one lie in the midst of truth corrupts the entire book.

But then, if you are Satan and trying to sell a package to get people to believe you are Jesus Christ, as the beast is trying to do right now, you have to change the Bible to make it say what you want it to say. A clear example of this comes in their removal of the concept of Hell from the Bible. Many times they change "hell" to "grave" or "death", but the word "hell" is far and few in the new versions! The clearest example is in Psalm 9:17: which says,

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."

The NIV reading, "The wicked return to the grave..." is clearly absurd, for we all "return to the grave." The issue is what happens to our soul after we die. The devil would prefer that we not think about that place called hell. In fact, he would rather call it something else. So instead of using the word Hell, they come up with the nice Greek word "Hades" (also a place in Greek mythology) or Hebrew "Sheol," which is not the same as Hell. (See Matt. 16:18, Luke 16:23, Acts 2:31 and many, many more, the "NEW King James" does this 29 times!) Rather than translate into the obvious word hell - THEY REFUSE TO TRANSLATE IT!

When the translators are questioned about this, they contend "this is a better translation" and are "easier to read" and "understand"? Who in their right mind thinks the words Hades or Sheol is "easier to understand" than the word Hell? Why didn't they leave in the Greek word Ouranos for heaven? It's obvious! Because someone is trying to remove and cast doubt on the place called Hell!

In Isaiah 14:15, the Bible condemns Lucifer to hell:

"Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell . . ."

The modern versions refuse to send Lucifer to Hell! The NIV reads,

"But you are brought down to the grave. . ."

The NASV, NRSV, NEW King James (NKJV) places him in "Sheol"!

The Lord's or The Devil's Prayer?

An alarming display of Satanic perversion is found in Luke 11. The "The Lord's Prayer" is subtly (see 2 Corinthians 11:3) transformed into "The Devil's Prayer".

The King James Bible in Luke 11:2-4, reads,

"And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil."

Incredibly, the "modern versions" take out: "which are in heaven," plus they remove "Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth," and most interestingly "deliver us from evil." Heaven is completely removed! To believe these "modern scholars," God is not in heaven and does not deliver us from evil. This is sounding more and more like a demonic program from hell itself.

The program goes further though. They take out Hell and Heaven, they attempt to equate Jesus Christ with Lucifer and then the go further and attack your desire to study the know the Bible. The King James Bible is the only English Bible in the world that has a command to "study" your Bible! That's right! 2 Timothy 2:15 teaches us to:

"STUDY to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth"

The "modern bible translators" apparently think that Bible study is not so necessary. The program is apparent here. Just go to a church, sit in a pew, and let the preacher "enlighten" you. Also, it will be easier for you to accept the beast system when it comes.

They take out whole verses!

In Acts 8:37, the King James reads,

"And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

The modern versions all edit out the entire verse! One of the best verses in the Bible on salvation through Jesus Christ and they edit it out! Why is it that every time a sinner is saved by grace in the book of Acts - THEY ATTACK IT? In Acts 9:5,6: Paul is getting saved, and they take out 20 words! In Acts 16:31 when the Philippian jailer is getting saved, the word "CHRIST" is delicately removed! Why do these new bibles so fiercely attack God's wonderful plan of salvation?

They take out: Romans 16:24, Mark 11:26, Acts 15:34, Luke 23:17, Acts 28:29, John 5:4, Mark 7:16, 9:44,46 and many, many more - as your Bible is literally cut apart!

Jesus Christ says, in Luke 4:4, ". . . It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word OF God." Not according to the NIV, NASV, NRSV and crew! In fact, the even "tear out" the last half of Luke 4:4 - "BUT BY EVERY WORD OF God"!

Yes, but the new versions have the deity in other places. They contain the plan of salvation in other places. There is good in them. Did you know ONE tiny, microscopic AIDS virus will "defile" a whole batch of perfectly "good" blood? It has some "good" in it - BUT IT WOULD BE DEADLY! Would you "inject" it into your child, loved one or congregation? And would you "inject" them with a Bible that is "defiled" because it has some "good"? It could be far more costly than their physical life - THEIR ETERNAL SOUL! Galatians 5:9 says, "A LITTLE leaven leaveneth THE WHOLE lump."

In our next section, we will look at some of the arguments people give for using the new versions over the King James Version. We will evaluate these arguments in detail and determine if they have any validity or not.
